The Orhan Girl: Book 9 in the Dan Stone Series (Assassin Series)
A family attacked in Mexico City. All killed except for a young girl. She happens to be a friend and favorite of Dan Stone. It’s personal, and now he’s out to make the perpetrators pay. Along the way, Dan unearths multiple conspiracies. Taking the bull by the horns, he does what he does best: bring the fight to the enemy up close and personal.
Book nine in the Dan Stone Assassin series offers interweaving sub-plots and non-stop action as Dan wreaks havoc on those who dared to attack the ones he loves. The action runs from Mexico to D.C. as Dan pursues his enemies. Like Mitch Rapp on the loose.

Great readThanks to my fellow readers. I value your opinion. I am a fan of the Dan Stone novels. One of the readers stated the first part was a bit slow. I found this to be true, but worthwhile as it set the stage, plot and characters. It’s about 85 pages. After that the story took off and I was fully engaged. This may be fiction but it sure mirrors today’s climate in the US from the border to DC.

Rational GhostDan is the rational ghost who dies what is necessary. The fictional details are ridiculously close the truth of SC and its power structure. Let’s hope some secret sicario does indeed guard our country.

Excellent reading!Great addition to the Dan Stone series. Using what’s going on in the US now made it current. That was brilliant!

Worth the waitDavid Nees isn’t a fast writer, at least in the Dan Stone series. I’ve stayed with the series since the first, Payback, which was a damn fine start. Each book takes a bit to get in to as Nees takes a while to set the characters and plot. It’s worth it because once it takes off it’s A wild ride. This latest book is no exception. I greatly look forward to the next book.I would hope somewhere there is a moral and dedicated assassin like Dan Stone in real life.

enjoyable readThe beginning of the novel was mostly setup. Diving into the various corruption and the effect. It was a little tedious. That being said, once Dan became involved the novel really hit overdrive. Entraining and with the read.

Intense Action ThrillerEnjoyed the intriguing unfolding plot and justified actions. Another Home run for David. The movie industry needs to pick up his stories.
